Big dissapointment. On the surface this product should work, but it does not. It is very flimsy, the entire frame bounces arround when you hit it. The ball is advertised to stop quickly, which it does but you have to stop it with your hands. As a High School Coach I thought this would help my team, but it is virtually useless and should not be purchased by any serious player.

I am a full time hitting instructor and High School Baseball Coach. I use the SoloHitter exclusively for all of my hitting instruction. The design of this unit allows me to sit right next to my student and observe every aspect of his/her swing while not having to shag baseballs or have to throw the perfect pitch time after time. Instead, I can concentrate on watching hands, feet, eyes, hips, balance and follow thru, while the hitter comfortably sets up for the next swing. The tic-tac-toe "net marker" hitting grid allows us to see what direction the ball is being hit, which translates back to the components of a great swing. At my baseball camps I utilize seven of these units to keep the students busy working on perfecting what their parents pay for... a great CONFIDENT SWING!!
