It's very sturdy and was simple to assemble. However, I have to use all my weight just to get the pedals to go down. As a result, I can't use it for more than 1-2 minutes at at a time. My husband needs something usable from a chair, and the action is too heavy for him as well. Also, at 17 pounds, it's too heavy for me to move around easily.

I bought this stepper back in June. It's now the end of September, and the cable snapped. This is the worst stepper I have owned. Don't waste your money!

This has been by far the worst mini stepper i have used. At least while it lasted. I only had it for a couple of months and the cable snapped, then the screws had to be retightened. Then finally the right step snapped and I just threw it in the garbage!! I agree with the other reviewer. This sucks.

I use this product 3 times week. If you are looking for a good cardio workout this product will give that. Easy to store when you have limted room.
My complait is that it should be made better.

I bought this product in late Dec of 08 and I had to replace 3 parts already and it's only April. The cable that goes around the wheel to create tenion broke twice and the timer stopped working so I had to replace that also.
I do not suggest buying this item.

I owned two mini-steppers previously, that did not hold up to my frequent use. This product is more sturdy & better made than any of the others that I owned in the past. If you are looking for a good reliable mini-stepper. This is the one to purchase.
