its pretty much the same stuff as sport court. which is used in roller hockey rinks' I got it for my 2 young nephews to help them puck control while stick handling with their head up. Its not made for ice hockey pucks so only use roller hockey pucks or mylec balls

gretzky3000....ur not supposed 2 use ice pucks anyway.these tiles are used for inline roller hockey, not ice hockey and yes these look like real inline tiles not something used for ice hockey pucks....ur supposed 2 use synthetic ice to shoot ice hockey pucks in the street.

This is probably the worst product I have ever used. You would have less friction by using the tiles in your kitchen than this thing. This can not be used with ice hockey pucks, roller hockey pucks are slightly better but this pad still does not do the job well. I returned mine immediately. What a disappointment
