No, I would not recommend this to a friend
The product looks and sounds great, but you have to wait 14 hrs. in order for the battery to charge before you can use the product. The manuel states that the car will only operate 15 to 20 minutes before the battery goes dead. Next, you need to let the battery cool down for 1 hr before your next recharge, which will take another 10 HOURS! To have fun with this product you will need 3 to 5 batteries for a full day of enjoyment. OH, batteries are $28.00 a piece and can only be charged one at a time. So, you need a separate charger for each battery.
