Modell's Sporting Goods stands behind its products.

To help make your shopping experience more convenient, returns are permitted at any of our store locations.

Oops... we goofed.

If you did not receive the product that you ordered, or if the product you received is damaged, please ship the item back to us and we will send you a new item at no cost to you.

Return Procedure: Please contact our Customer Service Help Center at 800-ASK-MODELLS, and follow the prompts for online orders/returns. Please note - you will have 365 days from delivery of the product to contact Modell's for a return.

You received what was ordered, but...

Returns being made for any other reason than above may be made within 365 days of delivery, at the customer's shipping expense, if all requirements listed below are met:

  • Items are to be in new and unused condition
  • All original tags, instructions, and accessories that came with the original shipment need to be included with the return
  • Products are to be placed back in their original packaging

Non-Returnable Items include:

  • Custom and Personalized items
  • Hosiery
  • Special Order Items
  • Undergarments
  • Swimsuits

Return Procedure: If you wish to return an order, and the above requirements have been met, please follow our easy 2 step return process:

  1. Obtain an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization)
    • To obtain an RMA number, find the order you wish to return by clicking the: Create RMA Once your order is displayed, select the items you wish to return.
    • You will receive an email with detailed instructions on how and where to return your order.
  2. Ship the items being returned back to or bring them to a store. Once you have your email with the RMA number and return instructions, you are ready to ship your order back for a refund (minus your original shipping charge) or take the order to a store.
    • Either send your order back to the address given in the return email. Make sure to write the RMA number on the OUTSIDE of the carton, next to the "ship to" address.
    • Send the order using a traceable form of shipment such as FedEx, UPS, Certified or Priority Mail.

Special Returns Exception

The following items have Special Returns Exceptions:

  • Treadmills
  • Elliptical Machines
  • Exercise Bikes
  • Ping Pong Tables
  • Swagway
  • Fitbit must be contacted first before returning these items by calling 1-800-ASK-MODELLS. A restocking fee of 10% will be charged. (This fee is waived if the manufacturer deems the product to be defective / unrepairable. The buyer is responsible for shipping cost to return the product. (Return shipping will be waived if the manufacturer deems the product to be defective / unrepairable.) These items are not returnable in stores. If major shipping damage occurs please refuse the delivery and contact us at 1-800-ASK-MODELLS.
